What a partner store should know

Who is the Postman service for?
The Postman courier service is built for online stores, social-commerce sellers, and local businesses sending physical products to addresses within Tbilisi. It is most useful once a store handles several orders a day and needs to know the state of each parcel without asking. Every partner store gets its own workspace where it creates deliveries, follows statuses, tracks the money due from customers, and reviews analytics. Postman does not currently take one-off shipments from private individuals.
Is the service available across Georgia?
Postman currently operates only inside the administrative boundaries of Tbilisi, covering all ten districts: Vake, Saburtalo, Mtatsminda, Krtsanisi, Isani, Samgori, Chughureti, Didube, Nadzaladevi, and Gldani. Regional delivery is not yet operational. This is a deliberate choice: running one city predictably is worth more to a partner than spreading coverage thin. New cities will be published on this page only once they are actually running, never as an announced plan.
How is pricing determined?
The delivery rate is set by the actual weight of a single parcel and is known before dispatch: under 5 kg costs 7 GEL, 5 to 10 kg costs 9 GEL, 10 to 15 kg costs 11 GEL, and 15 to 20 kg costs 15 GEL. Parcels heavier than 20 kg are not accepted. A size surcharge is added to the weight rate when the parcel is larger than 40x40 centimetres: 2 GEL up to 60x60, 4 GEL up to 70x70, and 8 GEL up to 80x80. The rate does not change with the district or the distance travelled inside Tbilisi. The delivery fee is recorded separately from the product price, and either the customer or the store can be the payer. No commission is charged on money collected from the customer.
Can stores see delivery statuses?
Yes. A partner store sees the current status and the full history of every order, in both the web workspace and the mobile app. The timeline records pickup, transit, postponement, and final delivery, each with its own timestamp. Important changes also appear in a shared notification inbox, so finding out that a delivery was postponed or ran into a problem does not require calling an operator. Analytics adds volume, completion rates, a district breakdown, and money flow.
Do you deliver on the same day?
Yes. Orders created before 13:00 are delivered to the recipient the same day. That cutoff is not fixed: it is agreed individually with each partner and can move later or earlier depending on the store's working hours, its pickup schedule, and its daily volume. Orders created after the agreed cutoff are scheduled for the next working day. Same-day is the standard service rather than an extra, and it is not priced differently: the rate depends only on parcel weight.
